Dear Partner,
Wishing all our Partners a Happy New Year.

Following our announcement on 22 October 2021 that services to Johannesburg will commence in early 2022, I’m excited to share with you that in just over 24 hours, my team and I will welcome our first scheduled services flight from Sydney after almost 20 months.

Johannesburg-Sydney: flights will resume on 6 January 2022. Three return flights a week will operate on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday by our 787 aircraft.

In line with current Australian Federal Government requirements, these flights are limited to Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate families and parents as well as eligible visa holders (excluding tourism).
All passengers on Qantas international flights (aged 12 years and older) will be required to be fully vaccinated with a TGA-approved or recognised vaccine (unless they have an exemption). For further information on what customers should expect on these initial flights, please see Qantas.com.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to welcoming our customers back onboard our international flights from this week.
Warm regards,
Michi Messner
